Certificate Programs
Certificate in Biblical Studies
This program is ideal for people who want a deeper understanding of Scripture. The courses required for this program focus on the Bible, without general education or elective requirements. All of the courses within this certificate program may also count toward one of the bachelor’s degree programs at Manna U. In addition to the 31 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.
Certificate in Christian Leadership
This program of study equips students to learn and apply sound Biblical leadership training such as values, vision, planning, motivation, and organizational development to embrace, understand, and live as an effective ministry leader. All of the courses within this program may also count toward one of the bachelor’s degree programs at Manna U. In addition to the 31 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.
Certificate in Church Leadership
This one-year program is ideal for people who are already working in ministry in either paid or lay capacities, but desire additional formal biblical training. The courses required for this program provide solid biblical and ministry training while also providing some flexibility regarding ministry focus between Pastoral Ministry and Christian Counseling.
Certificate in Worship Ministry
This program equips students to serve the local church through worship ministry with sound theology, exemplary leadership, and musical excellence. Worship Ministry students are required to participate in local-church worship-team practices and church services at designated times each week of the semester. Distance education and online students will complete this worship-team requirement at a local church within each of their own communities. In addition to the 31 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.

This program is ideal for people who want a deeper understanding of Scripture in an academic setting. The courses required for this program focus on the Bible, in addition to general education and elective requirements. In addition to the 64 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.
Associate of Christian Leadership Degree
This program of study equips students to learn and apply sound Biblical leadership training such as values, vision, planning, motivation, and organizational development to embrace, understand, and live as an effective ministry leader. All of the courses within this program may also count toward one of the bachelor’s degree programs at Manna U. In addition to the 64 credit hours of academic studies, A.C.L. students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.
Associate of Ministry Degree
This program allows students to build a degree based-upon their chosen area of ministry focus. Students have a degree of flexibility in deciding which aspects of Christian ministry they want to study. 24 credit hours of the program are selected by the student from Bible, Ministry Leadership, Counseling, Leadership, Intercultural Studies, and Worship Courses, allowing the student to pursue a highly-customized program of study that meets their unique needs.
Associate of Missions Degree
This program is designed to prepare students to engage in missions work in a cross-cultural or global setting. All of the courses within this program may also count toward one of the bachelor’s degree programs at Manna U. In addition to the 64 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.

Bachelor of Christian Counseling Degree
This program is designed for non-clinical biblical counseling in a church context. It does not provide licensure or counseling certifications. The B.C.C. program does provide a foundation for students who desire to pursue a master’s degree in counseling or other related fields. In addition to the 124 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.

Master of Biblical Studies Degree
The Master of Biblical Studies Program (M.B.S.) is a Bible-research based graduate degree designed to prepare emerging leaders for preaching, teaching, Bible-based ministry, and further graduate studies in the fields of Bible and theology. Students in this program learn fundamentals of biblical Greek and Hebrew as well as advanced skills in biblical research and writing. Plus, students learn from accomplished faculty with years of ministry experience.
The M.B.S. is for anyone who desires graduate level training designed to dig deeper into God’s word. In this program you’ll learn how to apply advanced hermeneutics to a variety of contexts. You’ll explore every book of the Bible, biblical languages, biblical leadership, and put it all together in a graduate thesis (written project).
Master of Christian Leadership Degree
The Master of Christian Leadership Program (M.C.L.) is a graduate degree designed to equip emerging leaders for leadership in ministry and the marketplace. Students in this program learn how to diagnose a variety of organizational issues from a biblical perspective grounded in the cutting edge of leadership theory. Our M.C.L. faculty are highly published scholars and practitioners with decades of global leadership experience.
The M.C.L. is for anyone who desires to “elevate” their leadership potential through academic and practical training.
In this program you’ll study strategic leadership, global leadership, organizational theory and application, and various research methods. You’ll put it all together in a culminating project designed to test and apply your newly acquired knowledge and skills.
Master of Pastoral Counseling Degree
Pastoral Counseling is a specialized form of counseling that integrates psychological understanding with theological insights. Given the rise of mental and emotional stress in today’s society, a program in Pastoral Counseling can equip aspiring ministerial leaders to make a significant impact in their communities, especially when integrated with Manna University’s charismatic distinctives and spiritual goals.

Master of Religious Studies Degree
Designed as a flexible program for those whose calling does not fit neatly into another degree, or those who have a variety of interests, this interdisciplinary degree offers the most flexibility of all of our graduate programs. Designed around a core of 15 semester hours in Bible/Theology, this degree also includes 15 semester hours of Elective credit which allows students to custom-tailor their Graduate School experience. Students can choose courses from our Graduate course offerings, such as Counseling, Christian Leadership, Intercultural Studies, or Pastoral Ministries, in order to create a program that best suits their calling. All students in this program also complete a Research Methods course, a Practicum, and a Culminating Experience thesis.
