Manna University is proud to offer CED 200- Foundations of Music Theory to anyone who wants to learn more about music theory, without the full college experience.
Tuition is billed at a flat rate of $125 for this Continuing Education Course. This may be paid at the time of application or in two equal payments of $62.50
Students who complete CED 200 with a passing grade who then become Degree-Seeking students in any of our Undergraduate programs are eligible to receive three hours of college credit, a $660 value, for completing CED 200.

Manna University’s Foundations of Music theory course
Manna University’s Foundations of Music Theory course is designed for members of worship teams who want to be more effective in serving their local church. This seven module, self-paced course features content from key worship leaders along the Military Highway, as well as additional resources for students who desire to learn more about a particular topic. Special guest lecturers include Wayne Tate, Alec Powers, Katelyn Fletcher, and Jordan Tate.
Over the course of seven modules, students will be introduced to the following topics: Notation and Pitch, Pitch and Intonation for both vocalists and instrumentalists, Scales and Circles of Fifths, Intervals and Harmonies, Chords and Inversions, Number Systems and Chord Charts, and Leading People and Teams.
These seven modules will help worship team members lead more effectively as they serve the local church along the Military Highway.

CED 200- Foundations of Music Theory
Complete Manna University’s Continuing Education Application which includes the course fee of $125.
Students will receive access to CED 200 through our online Learning Management System, Populi.
Complete the modules of the course at your own pace before the end of the term.
After completing the course, students who earn a passing grade will be awarded the Foundations of Music Theory credential, an academically awarded micro-credential through Manna University.
