Manna University Adds New Major

Manna University continues to reevaluate its academic programs to better meet the needs of the local church. During the last few months, the University has added a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling as well as several new certificates and degrees in Biblical Studies. Now, Manna U is pleased to announce the addition of a new Undergraduate major in Ministry, available to both Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts students.

These new degree programs are designed with flexibility in mind, and are ideal for individuals who feel called to ministry, but aren’t sure where to concentrate their studies. Both programs offer a wide selection of ministry-oriented electives in fields as diverse as Christian Counseling, Practical Ministry, Intercultural Studies, and Worship Ministry, enabling students to custom-tailor their educational experience, backed-up by a core of Bible & Theology and General Education courses. The A.A. in Ministry offers 24 semester hours of elective credit, and the B.A. in Ministry offers 51 hours of elective credit, our most flexible degree-program to date.

The addition of the Biblical Studies and Ministry majors at Manna University has necessitated a dissolution of our Divinity major at the Undergraduate level, though Manna U will continue to offer the Master of Divinity program. Manna University is excited to adjust our educational offerings to fit the needs of a changing local church.
