by Manna U Staff
We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to Manna University’s academic offerings: the Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling. Since Manna University introduced the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling in 2019, we have consistently received requests to offer a graduate-level program in the field of counseling. In a world where mental health issues have become increasingly prominent, we recognized the need to support the local church by equipping future Christian counselors with the knowledge and skills to provide essential services to those in need.
Key Program Information:
Program Duration: The Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling is a comprehensive 36-semester-hour program, providing students with a solid foundation in the field.
Clinical Licensure: It’s important to note that this program does not confer clinical licensure upon completion. However, it equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the counseling field.
Affordable Tuition: We understand the financial considerations that students face, and we are pleased to offer this program at an affordable rate of $300 per credit hour.
Preparing for a Diverse Range of Settings:
Our Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling is designed to prepare students to address the mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual growth needs of individuals in various settings. These include clinical, academic, organizational, and church or mission contexts.
A Response to Changing Times:
This new program aligns with Manna’s mission of fostering a holistic approach to education in a Christ-centered environment. The Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling will enable our students to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
