Divinity

Divinity is the best all-around program for those interested in vocational ministry. All Master of Divinity students study the Old and New Testament, socio-rhetorical interpretive methods, Christian Leadership,  ,Christian Counseling, and ministry-specific courses. Students also choose additional courses in either Biblical Studies or Christian Leadership, depending on their Track. Those in the 90 credit hour Master of Divinity program also have three additional Christian Counseling and two Practicum courses.

It depends entirely upon your degree-level. For Associate of Arts students, Greek is optional.  For Master of Divinity students, it depends on your Track. M.Div. students in a Biblical Studies Track will need to take six hours of Biblical Language coursework and six hours of Exegetical coursework.

If you already have a Bachelor’s Degree, and are looking to become a Military Chaplain, then our M.Div. is the logical next step for you. If you do not yet have a Bachelor’s Degree, you’ll need to complete one before moving-on to an M.Div.

Students with a Bachelor’s degree in any field qualify to enter this program, so there is no prerequisite experience in biblical studies required. You will learn biblical and theological foundations in the course of this degree.
