How do I login to Populi?

If you are signed in to your Manna U.edu account, click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of Manna U’s website to login to Populi (see below).

When I try to login to Populi, I get an error message. What can I do?

If you are logged in to another Gmail account, Populi will not be able to read your Manna U.edu login credentials and will give an error message.

Try this > log out of all other Gmail accounts, then login to your Manna U.edu email account and click on the Populi link again. If that doesn’t solve it, please be in touch (see contact details below) and our team will be glad to help!

Chrome users > the browser may be logged in to another Gmail account. You may also need to log out of that account for that browser before you can log in to your Manna U.edu account and access Populi (you can do this in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window).

When I go to the Populi login page, I see Google sign-in options. Is this how it should be?

Yes. We’ve set up your Populi account to recognize your Manna U.edu account credentials. This is called Single Sign-On, so you only need to remember one username and password (hooray!). This is why you see a sign-in page that looks like the one below.

I can't log out of Populi - how can I fix this?

When logging out of Populi, you may need to also log out of your Manna U.edu account in order to be fully logged out (sorry about that).

For Chrome users, you may also need to log out of your Manna U.edu account for that browser (you can do so by clicking on that account’s image in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window).

I forgot my password - what should I do?

Students can now reset their Manna U.edu account password on the email login page (hooray!).

Staff and Faculty will need to contact our staff for support > scroll down to see contact information.

The system is asking me to set a strong password for my account - do you have any advice?

The security of your account is very important to us, so you will be asked to set a strong password for your Manna U.edu account. Your new password should be 8 characters or more, and it can be any combination of letters, numbers, and symbols (hint: your favorite Bible verse contains a capital letter, lowercase letters, numbers, and a colon – and it’s easy to remember!).

Do I need a separate password for my Manna U.edu account and Populi?

No. If you are already logged in to your Manna U.edu email account, your Populi account should open when you visit the Populi login page (only one password – isn’t that handy?).

Faculty

Your faculty or staff account gives you access to sensitive information.

For this reason, we have added these extra security measures:

  • 2-step verification is activated: you will be asked to set up an alternate means to verify that you are logging in to your Manna U.edu account. This can be your mobile phone or an alternate email address (not a Manna U.edu account). Once you’ve set that up, you will only have to use the 2-step verification once per device that you use to login.
  • Self-service account recovery is not activated: if you are locked out of your Manna U.edu account you will need to contact our staff to reset your password.  You can contact the Academic Dean’s office at 910-221-2224 or academicdean@manna.edu.
  • You can still login to Populi the old fashioned way: click here to login to Populi using your Populi username and password.
