7th Annual Dream Run

by Frank Brazell

Runners felt the first breath of Fall air on Saturday, September 16th as they prepared for the 7th Annual Dream Run 5k. The route took runners through historic downtown Fayetteville, but a virtual option enabled Manna U students and partners to participate from anywhere. A group of runners in El Paso affiliated with Manna Church El Paso, gathered on September 3rd. On Thanksgiving Day, another group of runners will participate in their virtual version of the Dream Run in Newport News, VA. Altogether, more than 200 runners have participated in this year’s Dream Run.

New to the Dream Run this year was a Kid’s Fun Run 1k, where young runners had a chance to stretch their legs along a fun-filled course. During the event, Manna University also unveiled its official mascot: Major the Honey Badger! We are excited to see what the future holds for the Manna University Majors!

The Annual Dream Run 5k exists to raise awareness and funds for Manna University and the Manna Dream Center in Fayetteville, NC.
