Solid biblical training from accomplished faculty with years of ministry experience.

This program is designed for non-clinical biblical counseling in a church context. It does not provide licensure or counseling certifications. The B.A.C.C. program does provide a foundation for students who desire to pursue a master’s degree in counseling or other related fields. In addition to the 121 credit hours of academic studies, students are required to fulfill the Leadership in Action requirement.

Program Objectives

  • Enable students to evaluate psychological theories by the authority of Scripture, helping them to articulate accurate biblical perspectives empirically validated by the model of human psychology.
  • Enable students to understand the foundations of empirical research and the biological foundations of psychological experience.
  • Help students to foster a spiritual, mental, emotional, and relational view of self growth and others through practical exposure and training in outside agency work.

Olivia’s Story

Like most of today’s college students, Olivia leads a busy life. Fitting in time for studies was a challenge on top of work and serving in her local church, but she sensed the need to be more prepared for her calling.

“The BACC degree teaches a thorough view of Christian counseling as well as many biblical tools that can be incorporated into all types of counseling fields. I have truly enjoyed the classes that go with this degree as well as how I have been able to practically apply the information to ministry and work.”
